  1. Coming from Pius, what was the most difficult transition for yourself when you became the Greendale Athletic Director?

“The most difficult part of my transition from Pius XI has been getting to know all the new names and faces! With over 1,000 new people to interact with it can be a juggling act to remember who is who.”

  1. If you had to pick one thing about Greendale that you’re looking forward to most either now, or in the coming years, what would it be?

“In my short time at Greendale I have already noticed the large amount of community support that our Athletic Programs receive. I look forward to building off that Greendale Pride and increasing community awareness of all the programs Greendale High School has to offer.”

  1. What are your favorite athletic events to attend? Why?

“I find myself enjoying all of our Athletic Events. Watching our student-athletes compete in a sport that they are truly passionate about is what makes attending these events so enjoyable. Of course it’s also enjoyable to watch our energetic student-section and teammates interact and cheer on their classmates and friends!”

  1. Outside of the typical duties of an athletic director, what are some things that you do in the athletic department that the typical athlete would not know about yourself?

“I find myself actively updating social media and the Athletic Website in an attempt to help consistently communicate athletic events to our greater community and showcase all the great things our student-athletes and teams are doing throughout the season! I will also be using social media to consistently interact with the student body, and hopefully increase overall student attendance at athletic events.”

  1. What was it about Greendale that brought you from a school so prestigious as Pius?

“The students at Pius XI were a blast and I really enjoyed my role there. However, Greendale drew me in with the large community and overall fan support at athletic events along with the amount of extracurricular participation within the school. To see nearly 75% of the student body participating in extracurricular activities really proves what a strong school and student body there is at Greendale High School!”

  1. Fun fact about yourself that few people know…?

“I am a former NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Coach. I spent over 10 seasons coaching volleyball at the High School, Club, and Collegiate levels. During my 2 years as a college coach I got the opportunity to visit 34 different states while either competing or recruiting! I left the coaching realm when I decided to enter into Athletic Administration.”
