60 Second Spotlight: Logan Lutz

Sophomore Logan Lutz is having a successful cross country season and hopes to advance to the state meet.

 

How is your Cross Country season going?

“Very good, I am not getting worse, and I am keeping my time consistent.”

 

What motivates you to run?

“What motivates me to run is the thought of going to State. Being able to say I made it to State would be an awesome bragging right.”

 

Do you run on your free time, or just at practice?

“I run a lot on my free time, about 7 miles each time.”

 

How long have you run Cross Country?

“I started running Cross Country in seventh grade. I ran with the high schoolers and it helped me become the runner I am.”

 

What’s your favorite thing about running?

“Running relieves a lot of stress, and I enjoy trying to improve my PR (personal record) time.”

 

Why should more people join cross country?

¨Cross Country is really fun, especially with our coach Corey Binnebose. Also, by joining Cross Country you become one team and make a lot of new friends.¨
