GHS Students Get Spooked at Haunted Houses

October 24, 2017
Halloween is right around the corner, and many students are taking part in Halloween festivities by going to haunted houses with friends and family.
Some people will be going to a haunted house for the first time.
“In the previous years I would’ve rather just hung out with friends than go to a haunted house, but this year I think I am finally excited to go.¨ said junior Kayla Magerowski “I think for my first haunted house I would want to go to the Hill Has Eyes only because there’s a ton of ads and people say it is really fun and scary.”
Hill Has Eyes is one of the most popular haunted houses for GHS students to go to, and some students work there and really enjoy their job.
“I love working at the haunted house. I act as a psychotic plastic surgeon in my scene and act as if I am a mannequin at first,” junior Tess Schaefer said. “I wouldn’t want to go to another haunted house, because I have to stay loyal.”
Junior Anina Lee plans to go to see her friends at work.
“Some of my friends work at the Hills Has Eyes, so that’s usually the only haunted house I go to around Halloween,”Lee said.
Lee has gone to about eight haunted houses in her lifetime, and junior Carley Rudd has gone to about 15, “I usually go with my cousins to the Mars Haunted House in Milwaukee, I prefer this one because I have always gone here,” she said.
