GHS students returning from winter breaking

Greendale students and staff just came back from their winter break and some went on some busy,exciting trips while others stayed home and relaxed.

Freshman Katie Ramirez went out of state to look at colleges.

“I went to Texas and went to see the college I want to go to and I spent time in my family’s bakery flipping tortillas,” she said.

Some students visited some friends that they haven’t seen in a while.

“I spent most of my time hanging out with my friends who were home from college and swimming,” junior Natalie Norton said.

Like Norton, junior Amanda Mageski also spent her break with friends.

“I got to hangout with my best friend a lot over break,” she said.

Some students went up north and did winter activities.

¨I went up north to Saint Germain with my family on an ice fishing trip,¨ junior Josh Warner said.

Students also just took a fun,but more laid-back time off.

¨I slept in a ton, worked out on my free time, and then hung out with a bunch of friends who were from out of town,¨ junior Brendan O’Donnell said.
