Beginning of a new semester

Greendale High School just started their first week of the second semester and students are getting used to their new schedules.

Most GHS students did really well first semester and are happy with their exam results.

“My exams actually went really well. I mean, I passed so it was pretty decent,” sophomore Kayleigh Brown said.

“My exams went by really fast and I didn’t prep too much for them, but I did study some more than others and I did pretty well on them,” junior Margaret Shaughnessy said.

A few didn’t have a great experience thought.

“Exams did not go well at all. I was so stressed out and nervous. I passed all of them so that’s what counts,” junior Sam Brahm said.

Some of the students really enjoy all their new classes.

“I like all my new classes. I’m making new friends that never knew I would be friends with,” junior Tess Schaefer said.

Other GHS students are not enjoying their classes as much as others.

“I’m taking some hard classes this semester and it’s not going to be fun always studying, but otherwise I like the new people in my classes,” junior Brendan O’Donnell said.
