Did you play for a club team, besides high school soccer?

I played for Elmbrook United on the U19´s team.

What had been your favorite part of soccer throughout these four years?

My favorite part of high school soccer is the friendships that I have been able to make throughout the years. I also think it is very cool how we are able to come from different clubs and be able to mesh to have success during the season.

Are you excited about being committed, and having a future beyond high school in soccer?

It has been one of my goals ever since I was little to play college soccer. My junior year was a very big year for me due to verbally committing to Clarke University in Dubuque Iowa. I’m so excited to be able to continue my soccer career while pursuing a career in Physical Therapy.

How do you think this season of soccer will go for you as a team and individually?

We have a lot of the same players from last year, so I feel as if we will be able to have success. Due to the conference change we are playing some teams that we have never sent before so I am excited for the challenge and I’m confident we will be able to compete.

What position do you play and what are your strengths and weaknesses?

During high school I play forward and on occasion I play mindfield. One of my strengths is being able to give 100% every time I step on the field. I feel when you are always giving everything your all you are able to dig deep and make a big play. The one weakness that is my main goal for the season is to make my turns quicker. If I am able to complete this task I will be able to beat the defenders quicker which will allow me to find an open teammate or finish on frame.

What are you going to miss the most about high school soccer?

I’m going to miss my teammates the most. I have grown very close with all the girls. It’s sad to think that this will be the last season I will play as a Panther, but I plan to cherish every moment on and off the field.
