Spring break is around the corner

Spring break is coming up fast and all the students are very excited. One of the highlights for  them is that they get to travel out of state for spring break.

“I’m going to Arizona to visit my grandma. I’ve been going their every spring break for the past few years so it’s kinda a tradition that I look forward to,” junior Ellen Abadsantos said.

Like Abadsantos, sophomore Abigail Wood is going out of state as well.

“Over spring break I am going to Los Angeles California to dance with dancers from all around the world,” she said.

“I am going to Florida with my family and it’s going to be super fun because I will be getting away from the cold,” senior Carmelo Patti said.

Some of the students will still have a fun break even if they are going to stay in Wisconsin.

“My spring break will consist of me staying here in Wisconsin, most likely catching up on good Netflix shows, hanging out with my friends that also stayed back here and going to practice,” senior Brooke Lutz said.

Like Lutz, junior Alyssa Dobbs is also staying in Wisconsin.

“I’m staying in Wisconsin and doing things with my family, celebrating Easter with my extended family, and touring colleges,” she said.

“I am going to hang out with my sister and we are going to have a super fun sleepover,” sophomore Mariah Bahling-Brown said.

Other students will be touring colleges on their way to warmer destinations.

“I’m driving down and going to tour the University of Florida and Vanderbilt University,” junior Carley Rudd said.
