Suits has become one of Netflix’s most popular shows, and has been on the top ten of Netlixes recommended list for months. Suits is about a firm who hires Mike Ross, a very intelligent person who uses his photographic memory to impress Harvey Specter, one of the main characters and a top lawyer in the firm, and cause him to bring him on as his associate despite the fact that Mike never went to Law School. Because the shows last season aired in 2019, many thought that Suits would be a faded memory, but upon its release recent on Netflix, it has broken two records for most streamed show in a week, which is impressive for any new show, much less one that came out years ago.
Suits’ popularity has even reached Greendale High school, with the majority of students like the show. “I liked the premise of the show, and I found all the characters interesting and immersive, I felt that all the characters had a story behind them,” said Junior Zubier Saleh. Despite its recent success, however, some people do still have some complaints against the show. “I stopped watching halfway through the show. Each episode felt recycled from the last one, and I didn’t feel connected to the characters as much,” Junior Brooks said.
Brooks says that his least favorite thing about the show is, “how each episode reuses the same things. Every episode starts with some law problem which will always get solved in the same exact way at the end of the episode each time.”
Saleh’s favorite thing about the show is, “probably the characters. I liked Harvey Specter, and how his character grew throughout the 9 seasons of the show,” Junior David Dhalman has another favorite aspect of the show. “My favorite part about the show is how the plot progresses throughout the season. There is always something new to look forward too. I also liked how the characters grew with the show.”
Currently there are 9 seasons of Suits, with a season 10 being rumored as the shows popularity continues to grow, it can be watched on Peacock and Netflix.
