As the 2023 summer came to an end a lot of GHS students went to Drake’s All a Blur Tour concert. The concert was at Fiserv Forum and was filled with people for the night. Junior Tess Zaja went with her best friends. “I loved it. Everyone was having so much fun. Everyone was on their feet and everyone around us was so much fun. My favorite song was Drake’s last song, Teenage Fever” she said.
Drake went on tour with 48 songs on his set list, and maybe even a surprise song depending on his crowd’s energy. “My favorite thing about the concert was when he came out because he was super hyped at the moment, and the atmosphere was amazing he got the stadium involved with the concert and was talking to the crowd,” Junior Cameron Bueno said.
Drake is very well known for a lot of his rap music, but he was able to mix his new songs with his old ones. He opened the show by singing old songs a hologram of his old self on a couch flipping through an old notebook. “I thought it was really cool seeing Drake’s “past self”. I also think that Drake has music for every situation, and if you don’t like a song on his album, there will definitely be another one you like, Senior Kiah Wilson said.
It was the first time Drake came to Milwaukee and tickets were expensive. Nosebleed tickets ranged from $200- $400 per seat, and floor tickets were up to $1000. Junior Billie Reiter ended up buying presale tickets and the first section up from the floor for $350 each. “The best song was “Look What You’ve Done from his Take Care album”,
Drake and 21 Savage performed in Milwaukee for over two hours. During his show, he had a hologram of his old self on a couch flipping through an old notebook of his. During his show, he had a crowd-leading DJ, different props on stage, things floating in the air, stage effects, fireworks, merch, and the best crowd engagement.
