The Greendale Gremlins are a Fall Ball baseball team made up of several GHS students who play on Sundays in the Rock baseball league.
The team’s record is 4-0, against some tough competition.
The Gremlins were created last year by seniors Alin Ademi,
Ethan Prophett and Luke Trentadue. They are also players on the team. The main goal for this team is to have fun and play baseball freely.
“My favorite part of the team is seeing all my friends, especially the ones who have never played before, be successful, and have tons of fun,” Ademi said. “It’s great to see my players enjoying themselves during the games, but also taking it seriously at the same time.”
One of the key players on this team is center fielder senior James Napierala. He is also the leadoff hitter on this team and is responsible for most of the runs this team has scored.
Napierala is also the team’s stolen base leader. “Having a good time caring about the people around you is what it means to me to play for the Gremlins,” Napierala said.
As there are many players on this team from Greendale, there is also a coach from GHS.
Senior Collin Kramp is one of the main head coaches who enjoys helping out with this tea /m. “My favorite part of being a coach is being able to help all of our players and keep motivating them to win,” Kramp said.
