Many students and staff were sad to find out that actor Matthew Perry had passed away on Oct. 28. Matthew Perry was best known for his role as Chandler Bing. His character on the show Friends.
Friends is a popular TV show from the 90s and early 2000s that many high schoolers watch today.
“I enjoy watching Friends because it never struggled to make me laugh or make me feel better and this why this is one of my favorite shows,” junior Ava Schroeder said.
Friends is about six close Friends living in New York City. The show consists of six main characters, Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe. Although it first aired over 20 years ago many teens and adults still enjoy watching it.
“Friends is one of my favorite shows. I grew up always watching it with my mom, and it never struggled to make me laugh and feel better. My favorite character was Chandler Bing.” After finding out about Matthew Perry passing, it was a really sad one, as I was a big fan of Friends,” sophomore Elsi Ayala said.
Perry was found dead in his hot tub after an apparent drowning,there were no drugs found in his system so the cause of death is still unknown.
“Chandler was one of my favorite characters on the show, and seeing Matthew Perry’s passing is really sad,” sophomore Eden Schunk said.
