The Student Council hosted the winter formal on Jan, 29 for the first time in over five years, and from a lot of perspectives people loved it even more than Homecoming.
“I would rate it an 8 out of 10 because it was pretty fun and there were a lot of good songs. There was also a lot more people than I expected to be there,” sophomore Thomas Hanlon said.
The seniors enjoyed the dance because they are happy that they brought it back right before leaving for college. Most seniors went to the dance to remember this dance as a memory.
“I loved having it brought back for my senior year. It added more excitement to the year for sure and even more memories to store for us to remember,” senior Annamarie Murphy said.
Most people want winter formal to come back just for the thrill of it. Because they love getting dressed up and going with dates. The tickets were only $15 which is cheap for a dance too and that’s what people like.
“I would plan on going to another winter formal because this one was very fun, and I would definitely be open to doing it again,” sophomore Zayd Cartagena said.
Student Council members think the winter formal went really well and are happy because it was a lot of hard work and took a lot of time to make this happen.
“Winter formal was a hit this year. After StuCo pushing for this for a couple of years, it finally happened and everything ran smoothly!” junior Kallie LaPointe said.
