After releasing one of the most anticipated and best albums of the year, Travis Scott announced that he was going on tour last August and he came to the Fiserv Forum, Jan. 15.
Scott released his first album in 2015 and has released many popular albums after like Astroworld, Rodeo, and Jackboys, so fans were thrilled when Scott posted his tour dates.
Although he is a big name and could have charged a lot for the tickets. He decided to keep the prices low. Tickets range from $15 to $210.
“The price was more than right because tickets were relatively cheap, and if you were lucky enough you could have got them last minute for cheaper,” senior Collin Kramp said.
While the tickets were a lot cheaper than other concerts, that did not affect the quality of the concert. A huge stage, lots of lights, and loudspeakers, all adds on to reasons why fans feel that Scott is one of the best performers.
“I have been to many concerts and paid a lot more. They were not even close to as good as Travis. The way he was hyped the whole time and it felt like he truly wanted to be there, made the experience great,” senior Isaiah Ramirez said.
Scott and the crowd are able to stay hype throughout the whole concert because of the amount of iconic and great songs he has “Sicko Mode,” “I KNOW,” “Highest in the Room,” and “Butterfly Effect” were just some of the many he played.
“What I enjoyed the most about this concert was the people around me who were all going crazy to every song, and my favorite song was actually two of them, it was when he transitioned from ‘Antidote’ to ‘Goosebumps’,” Lopez said.
