The Snoball was a blast for the people who went, but not everyone decided to attend the dance. Although most people liked it, not everyone is a fan, or was able to go. Some people had other plans, while others did not know what it would be like since the school hasn’t had it in a few years.
Sophomore Gracelyn Slock hung out with her friends at home. “I didn’t go to the dance because it seemed very over hyped and most of my friends were not going. Instead of going, me and my friends hung out at one of our houses. She added, “I don’t regret not going because I don’t really find GHS school dances very fun and it’s not like it was for Homecoming.”
Others said they will probably go next year. “I didn’t go to the dance because I did not have a dress to wear and my friends and I just did not want to go. I might go next year just because it will be my senior year and I want to make it to everything.” junior Kennedy Durocher said. “Instead of going to the dance I hung out with my friends. I do not really regret going because it’s not that important to me anyways.
Some would have gone, but had other commitments. “I didn’t go to the dance because I had a volleyball tournament so I was not able to make it.” junior Addison Benning said. “I would go next year because I did want to go and all of my friends went, so yes I did regret not going but I had no choice.”
Some people did enjoy the dance that went, and encouraged people to go next year. “I think it was very fun. I also think it was better than Homecoming because the music choice was better. It was also more set up with decorations,” sophomore Aser Saadeldin. “I think people should go next year because if more people go it will be more fun. Also it’s just a fun time and you get to hang out with your friends while jumping around to your favorite songs.”
