As spring break approaches with less than a month to go, many students and families are planning to take vacations and enjoy the time off. From Florida to Euprope, many people have fun and exciting destinations too.
Freshman Tiffani Galusha is very excited for her upcoming vacation too][n Europe.
“I’m going to Germany with my brother and my sister. I’ve never been before and I’m super excited. My mom wanted us to see Germany, because she loved it while visiting the town the German foreign exchange students came from,” she shared. “I’m really looking forward to seeing new things and new experiences!”
Meanwhile junior Betsy Potkay is going to be traveling to Mexico with her family.
“I have never been to Mexico before. We’re staying at an all inclusive resort! I’m looking forward to having some time to relax and read during my stay,” she stated.
Senior Ella Gruben is looking forward to a trip with her friends out of state during break.
“I’m traveling to Illinois with my friends over break. I’ve been there before. I have family there and I am excited to go back and have a wonderful time!” Gruben shared.
Ayanna LaPointe, a senior, shared her plans as she has two destination plans over the week-long break.
“I’m going to Phoenix for five days with my sister Kallie, Callie Morzy and her family. Will go hiking in Arizona, and explore Old Town Scottsdale,” she stated. “Then I’m going to go to the Fort Meyers, FL area for one week with Bailee Anders, Abby Hajeski, and Isabel Schrank. In Florida, my friends and I are just going to be going to the beach every day and spending our nights in the town.”
Another senior that is planning on having fun in the sun is Nikolina Gallo.
“I am going to Punta Cana with Izzy Nowak, Reese Spranger, Clara Farley and Katarina Zrnic. I am looking forward to swimming in the pool and looking forward most to the ocean and the all you can eat buffet and to explore,” Gallo shared.
Meanwhile junior Sophia Cook will be traveling all the way to Ireland this spring break with the Greendale High Schools orchestra.
“While we are there we are going to tour around different colleges and then play some pieces of music we have been working hard on. I’m most excited about being able to forget about school for an entire week and going on horse carriage rides,” she said.
