The musical Legally Blonde ran for two weekends last month and audiences thought that the actresses and actors did a very good job. Junior Liv Vitrano played the lead, Elle Woods, who follows her ex-boyfriend to Harved after he breaks up with her. Elle tries to figure out every possible way to get to Harvard, determined to win him back.
Junior Ethan Reyes played Professor Callahan and he was happy with how it turned outl. “The show went really well,” he said. “It turned out better than I was expecting. Some things really come together nicely in the end. My favorite thing about playing this character was that it was very far from my personality. I got to be mean to people and be intimidating to others.”
Some actors had favorite scenes from the show. “My favorite scene was ‘Chip On My Shoulder’ because the ending is where I’m singing and it’s really fun because it involves the whole thing,” junior Nathan Prince, who played Emmett Richmond, said.
Prince also was happy with how the show turned out. “The thing I enjoyed most was the community and being around people that do the same thing as me. I think the show went really well,” he said.
Those that came to watch the show had a great time. “I think the show was really good and all the characters did a good job of making it interesting,” said sophomore Mya Tuagher. “My favorite character has to be Elle Woods played by Liv Vitrano. I think she did a very good job playing her role and she fit the character really well, while also being an outstanding singer.”
