The Student Council will host the snowball again this year on Feb 1, and they hope to see a huge turn out.
Tickets will be sold the last week of January, the 27-31, in the lunchroom during lunch. Tickets are $15.
The dance has been in the works for about 2 weeks so far, and they’re still planning it currently. The theme is Northern Lights and they have some pretty cool ideas for decorations, including a backdrop for pictures and starry lights to set the mood.
Student Council members share why students should attend.
“If you are able to come, you should. This dance is going to be one for the books. The theme is super fun, and we have a good song selection,” senior Alexa Bantle said.
Many students are looking forward to this upcoming dance.
“I’m really excited for this dance. Homecoming was a while ago and Prom isn’t for awhile, so this is a good inbetween,” junior Josie Marshall said.
Students also look forward to taking photos beforehand.
“I’m going to the dance with my friends. We’re going to the gazebo to take photos. I go there for most dances because I really love the scenery,” junior Audrey Cullen said.
On the other hand some students have decided they aren’t going to attend.
“I’m not going to the dance because I think it’s one of the worst dances the school holds. It seems boring, not a lot of people go, and I’ve heard a lot of negative reviews on it,” sophomore Pavle Dragicevic said.
The freshman students seem to be more thrilled about this dance.
“I cannot wait for the dance. I really hope they play some Taylor Swift bangers, and other good pop songs. I bought my dress a few weeks ago and I can’t wait to wear it,” freshman Kiyah Busshardt said.
The doors open at 7:45, and the dance is from 8-10. Student Council is excited to see you there.
