The series finale of You just dropped on Netflix, and students are excited to see what thrills this season brings.
The show is about Joe Goldberg, who lives in New York and stalks girls, then falls in love with them. Joe then goes to extreme lengths to protect the girls he cares for, no matter the cost.
Students have many predictions for the final season.
“I think he is definitely going to hook back up with his son since he is back in New York. I also think he is going to have to come head to head with the actions from his past that are going to bite him in the back,” senior Aiden Warwick said. “I don’t think Joe is going to get caught by the police. Instead, I think someone is going to end up killing him and the season will end.”
Students think back and express which season they think it their favorite of the show.
“Season three was my favorite because Love is my favorite character because she is equally crazy or even more than Joe. When Joe and Love moved to Los Angeles they both matched each others crazy which caused so many problems and twists in the show which I really liked,” sophomore Olivia Trentadue said.
Many students did not like season four of the show and they hope season five will be better.
“I think season four kinda sucked because I didn’t like how they completely dragged it all the way to the UK. I feel like there’s only so much you can do with this type of show without it getting repetitive. In the fourth season it was definitely repetitive and not really necessary,” junior Audrey Cullen said.
Some students believe that season one of You has been the best overall.
“Season one was something new that we hadn’t really seen before. The idea of an obsessed serial killer was different and suspenseful. The first season was very unpredictable, which I really enjoyed. As the show goes on it turns into a repetitive and predictable plot, but the creepiness of the first season was enjoyable to watch,” freshman Cole Johnson said.
