Coach Sarah Dominguez was very pleased with the girls performance this season as they placed fourth in conference.
“Qualifying as a team for sectionals by beating Oak Creek and Wilmont topped the list-it was a very exciting team experience!” Golf coach Sarah Dominguez said.
Golf isn’t easy it takes a lot of practice and dedication, the girls often spent there time practicing at Sunny Slope golf course in New Berlin. They often practiced everyday they didnt have meets.
“We practiced four to six hours a week, spending different parts of practice on different parts of our game.” Tess Fieldbinder said.
Golf is a sport that you get to play against different teams throughout the team’s conference. You play with teammates and against others from different school its a new environment.
“My favorite part of the season was meeting so many new people and getting to play with some of my friends I met during my freshman year.” Macey St. Lawrence said.
Next year, the girls golf team is hoping to make it past sectionals and take their talents further and further hoping to maybe even win conference.
