The new Chaos Walking movie came out on March 5, in theaters and online like on Amazon Prime as well. The movie was based originally from the book called The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness.

The movie stars Tom Holland, Daisy Ridley, Mads Mikkelsen and Nick Jonas, and it is about a young man named Todd Hewitt who lives in a dystopian world without women, where all men can hear each other’s thoughts in streams of images, words, and sounds called “Noise.” A woman named Viola Eade crash lands on his planet, and he must help her escape danger.

In my personal opinion the movie was pretty good and it had amazing casting.  The acting was fantastic. Ridley and Holland were outstanding in their roles and kept the story engaging and entertaining from start to finish. Mikkelsen was also very good as the primary antagonist with Jonas.

Coming out of two Jumanji Movies Jonas’s acting has been pretty good so far. For every character that he has played he focuses a lot on his specific character and he knows how to act the part, he can be an antagonist or a protagonist, or even a side character and he still plays the part right.

I liked how the movie stayed focused on the main plot and didn’t have any boring or unwanted scenes, so it wasn’t jumping from one thing to another. Ever since I saw the trailer I’ve wanted to watch it because Holland is one of my favorite actors since Spiderman movies, and also since Jonas was there too.

I also like how the characters were very emotional and vulnerable in some parts of the movie because usually men in movies are more emotionally private, so I thought that that was pretty interesting, for example Todd can’t control his emotions so everyone can hear what he is thinking, so to avoid them hearing personal stuff he constantly repeats “I am Todd Hewitt, I am Todd Hewitt, I am Todd Hewitt”.

Even though the movie was pretty great overall, I wish that the ending could have been a little bit different. I just feel like they could’ve added something more to it because it just ended very fast, but it wasn’t that bad. If you’re looking for a movie with good action, acting, visuals. This is the movie you need to watch, and it is one that you can watch with your friends and family.
