With Graduation coming soon many seniors and their families are planning and  looking forward to graduation parties. While some of their parties are on the same weekend as the ceremony others wait until later in the summer.

Senior Owen Fisher is looking forward to his party. “I’m excited for my grad party because all of my friends and family who I haven’t seen in a while will be there,” he  said.

Another reason why people are looking forward to grad parties is because usually a lot of people have them, so throughout June and July there will be many parties to go to and have fun and connect with friends. “I am looking forward to going to everyone’s grad party because I enjoy seeing old friends and family,” senior Seth Michalski said. 

One thing about grad parties is that you want to know when other people’s parties are so you don’t have yours on the same day, so what a lot of people do is they ask their friends what date is their partie and then pick a date no one used  so everyone has their own date. “Make sure everyone knows what date your party’s so no one else picks the same date, because I didn’t tell a lot of people so some people have the same date as me,” senior Jacob Martin said.

People mostly tend to have their grad parties in their backyard, but if you don’t have access to that, you can always rent out a place or go to your local park. Fun games like charades, boom cup, and don’t drop the tassel are what always makes the party fun, because it is a good way to get everyone together and have a good time. “My favorite game to play at grad parties is the boom cup, because everyone is laughing, cheering, having a good time, and it just makes everyone come together,” Fisher said.   

Grad parties are a great way to celebrate your graduation by bringing your friends and family together to have a good time and celebrate. With the end of the school year coming up there will be many grad parties you and friends can go to, to have a good time, chat with friends, and enjoy your summer. “This is my last summer before I leave for college so I wanna go to as much grad parties as I can so I can  spend the summer with my friends and family one last time,”  Martin said.
