Fantasy Football is a great way for football fans to interact with the NFL, with friends, and family. The game can be played on your phone or computer with many different fantasy football services. The way it is played is by drafting your team before the NFL season starts and you win games if your players score more points than your opponent in that week.

Junior Raygun Uremovich plays Fantasy football with his friends in his business class, and he helps in his dad’s league. “Right now I’m 5th in my friends league, 3rd in business league, 1st in my father league,” Uremovich said.

Junior Jack Bauer is in one league with his friends and coincidentally is in the same league as Uremovich. He enjoys the strategy in the draft on a week to week basis and playing with friends. “It’s fun to have a collective thing to do with the boys. I also pick people I know who can perform at a high level and take some sleepers,” Bauer said. 

Business teacher Andy Muszytowski plays fantasy football with his Sports Marketing and Entertainment class. “Fantasy Football is an innovative tool that I am using to focus on some important learning objectives and lifetime/business skills being developed or enhanced in the Sports & Entertainment Marketing class,” he said. These skills include teamwork, collaboration, communications, research, being able to follow through, decision-making, and statistical analysis are just a few examples of what students are doing in the class, without even realizing it. And, they are having fun with it too.”

Senior Owen Kohnke is in two leagues, one in his Sports Marketing class and one with his friends. In his friends league they have a punishment that the person that is in last place has to stay at Denny’s for 24 hours and for every pancake they eat, one hour is taken off. 

 It also is a great way for him to get along with his friends.  ‘It helps a lot because I talk to them more now that I am in a league with them. As well I think it’s really fun because whoever finishes last has to do a 24hrs at Denny’s,’ Kohnke said.

As the Fantasy Football season keeps on going teams will still trade players, pick up players, win games, and lose games.
