Every year Apple releases a new phone and this year Apple has begun selling the iPhone 14 at a starting price of $799. Many students want this iPhone due to the new features and the new screen display. 

The iPhone 14 has many similarities to the last year’s iPhone 13, but there is a couple of new features such as an upgraded dual-camera system, crash detection, and better battery life.

Iphones are very popular in schools and almost every student owns one, so when a new iPhone comes out many people will buy it. Sophomore Gabi Trauberman recently got the iPhone 14 for her birthday and she is enjoying the latest upgrade. “I previously had the iPhone 8 for 6 years and before that the iPhone 6s, so this was a big upgrade,” she said. 

People who own older phones like the iPhone X or older appeal to newer iPhones due to these features. “The large screen, the high resolution, and high-quality photos that the phone takes are the reasons why I wanted this phone,” Trauberman said. Outdated phones make people want newer features or just fresh new phone. “I’ve owned My iPhone for 3 years and now my battery doesn’t last long and my face ID doesn’t work anymore,” junior Alexandra Pegalow said.
