Summer is just around the corner and that means it’s concert season. One concert that everyone wants to be at is called Summer Smash at Seatgeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois.

Summer Smash is one of the biggest rap concerts every single year and consists of around 40-50 artists that sing their most popular song while everyone watches them and sings along.

Junior Hannah Patneuade has never been to the concert before but plans to attend this  next year. “I think the artists this year are crazy good. There are only a handful of artists I don’t listen to every day. By the looks of it it sounds way better than last year because of how many superstars are performing this year,” she said. 

Lil Yachty, Lil Uzi, Playboi Carti, Babytron, $uicide Boys, and more are just some of the artists that will be performing at this concert. 

Junior Riley Guenther is very excited to go to this concert. “My favorite artist in this group has to be Babytron. He’s such a great lyricist and can have a great flow on any beat, especially the ones with the hard 808 kicks,” he said. 

Babytron is a rising artist from Michigan who makes great music with great flow. Junior AJ Randolph is looking forward to seeing some of his favorite rappers. “Tee Grizzley is easily my favorite artist in the whole group because I can relate to him on a level and I can tell he is real about what he says,” he said.

Summer Smash is going to be a great experience for anyone who is there and will definitely turn more heads to rap music. These musicians can become more respected and seen throughout the country and this will help them increase in popularity. The concert will be held Friday, June 23 through Sunday June 25.
