The Panthers Den is a store at the GHS next to the library when students walk into the main doors. The store is run by the business teacher, Andy Muszytowski and it sells different things such as snacks, clothes, drinks, etc.

“Every year, I have met with students and listened to what they would like to be sold in the Panthers Den.  It is important that we hear what students have to say because they are our customers.  So we listen and then do some research, meet with our vendors, and look at some trends,” Muszytowski said. “This year, we added new hoodies, crewneck sweatshirts, long-sleeve “Roll Dale” t-shirts, and pink short-sleeve t-shirts. They also added new wristbands in three colors (Kelly Green, White, and Black) and a new school flag,”

Last year, parents and guardians asked if they could include Youth Hoodies, so now they do. “We try to make these items affordable by bringing in good quality that wears well and will last. We also added new beverages and snacks, based on the Federal Nutritional Standards that we must follow,” Muszytowzski said. “For example, we are now selling various fruit slushies, hot and iced coffees, and hot chocolate.”

The students that help and work in the Panther’s Den are students that take Muszytowski’s business classes. They take orders and serve the customers what they want. A lot of people that work there say they enjoy and love working there and helping the high school out before and after school. “I speak to my coworkers and serve customers. The customers we have are really polite and kind. Working there starts off my day well and ends my day well,” sophomore David Acamovic said.

The store is open every school day before school from 7:05 am to 7:25 am and after school from 2:50 pm to 3:15 pm. Students loves going there before and after school because there are so many items to pick from. Some of the items have also been selling out because the store has been so busy.

“The best seller is the Slushies. They have been selling very well. Our students and their families like our apparel and spiritwear lines too,” Muszytowski said
