Usher performed the Super Bowl halftime show on Feb 11 and he was joined by some guests such as: H.E.R., Alicia Keyes, Jermaine Dupri, Lil Jon, and Ludacris.
One of the most memorable moments was when Lil’ Jon came out to perform “Turn Down for What,” which then transitioned into the song “Yeah!” After they performed “Yeah!” Usher switched into a blue sparkly suit with skates.
Most people said that their favorite song was “Yeah!” because it was such a hype song.
“The best song that User performed was ‘Yeah.’. That’s always been my favorite song,” junior Landon Lopez said.
Many people liked it because of all the different singers who came out to sing with Usher. “I liked the guests, but the one I liked the most was Ludacris because of all of the good songs he has and also another favorite part was when he changed into roller skates and all of the dancers started to skate with him,” sophomore Tyler Roche said.
Although some thought the show was great, many teens didn’t like the show because of all the old artists that they didn’t know. A lot of people want the new artists of today instead of back in the late 2000’s.
People liked last year’s halftime show better than this year’s halftime show because of the decorations and because of the main artist Rihanna. “Last year’s Super Bowl show was more interesting than this year I feel like because of Rihanna singing and because of the overall performance,” sophomore Zayd Cartagena
