
Over the past two weeks seniors from Greendale High School have been parctipating in there end of the year activities, some of them being senior skip day. Some of the activities included, a Brewers game tailgate, a trip Six Flags Great America, and a day at the beach.
Senior Lyla Gibson expressed her favorite senior skip day was the Brewers game because how much she actually enjoys the atmosphere, and watching the games.
“I really like going to brewer games because there’s always a happy atmosphere, and the fans are always full of energy,” Gibson said, “I also really like watching the games and have been to many Brewers games so i’m glad it was a senior skip day.”
Seniors debate on which skip day is their favorite for a lot of reasons, senior Eden Schuk the beach because she able to tan and hang out with friends.
“Tanning is one of my favorite things to do and I also love hanging out with friends so it is easily the best of both worlds,” she said.
Members of the class think senior skip day was a good tradition and why, and surprisingly all seniors agreed that it is a good tradition, Zayd Cartagena talks about how close it brings the grade together,
“senior skip day brings the whole grade together, people who don’t hangout on a day to day basis get the chance to converse and spend time together,” Cartagena said. “Most people bonded and there was no problems during the skip days.”
You can’t have a good skip day without food, and at the tailgate senior Aiden Acevedo was known as the grill master at the Brewers tailgate, and many people brought food.
“I was on the grill the whole time I didn’t leave, but there was all kinds of food from puerto rican rice, fruit, chips, burgers, and hot dogs,” Acevedo said.
