During the month of November where people come together with family and friends to express their thankfulness on Thanksgiving, students and staff of Greendale High School share what they are thankful for this Thanksgiving.
¨My best friends are what I am most thankful for this November. I don’t know what I would do without them,¨ freshman Quinn Gephart said.
¨I am thankful for the new Starbucks holiday menu and also my friends for buying me Starbucks,¨ freshman Mailani Garcia said.
¨I’m thankful for my friends because they comfort me and they keep me sane,¨ junior Grace Markovic said.
“I am so thankful for my family and for Roblox!” freshman Quinn Schuchardt said.
As there is a common theme of gratitude among students towards family and friends, the teachers are also grateful for many things.
¨I am grateful for my family, friends, and plane tickets. I always have something to look forward to when a flight is booked,¨ English teacher Kate Wagner said.
¨I´m thankful for inspiring students and for plays and stories that we can work on together,¨ Theatre director Jeff Schaetzke said.
¨I’m thankful for my beautiful family and especially my granddaughters,¨ English teacher Pamela Jones explained.
With all that has been shared from the students and staff here at GHS, it is clear that family and friends are something commonly appreciated. It is also clear that there are things you personally can be thankful for so go on with the season of thankfulness by spreading positivity!
