At GHS students enjoy wearing many different brands. Niche brads have been on the uprise as teens decide to wear things that are popular and expensive rather than “cheaper” and still nice pieces of clothing.
This student keeps it chill buying clothes for comfortablity, but spending hefty amounts every once in a while.
“I like to wear Nike most of the time. It’s just what I grew up wearing and it’s super comfortable. I see kids wearing Nike a lot and I’ve seen a couple students wear sp5der,” sophomore Diego Zavala said. “People like to follow trends and most people bough sp5der because it is Young Thugs brand. The most I’d spend on clothes is $300 for an big one time purchase.”
Freshman Michaela Prideaux likes cute clothes inspired by her friends and others.
“I wear Lululemon because it’s super cute and all of my friends wear it too. I get most of my clothing styles from what I see my friends wear or small influencers on Tiktok, she said my least favorite brand is Puma. I just don’t like their stuff and never owned anything Puma.”
Pacsun is another popular brand.
“I started only buying from pacsun for a couple months now. It’s super affordable and they have a bunch of cute clothes,” junior Ava Russell said. “Pacsun has just recently been added to tiktok so when I see girls wearing things I like I buy them. I don’t buy lululemon because it is too expensive when I could get the same leggings or something for a cheaper price.”
These are some trends students at GHS think will pop out in the next couple months.
“I saw a couple last summer, but I think men wearing slightly cropped shirts will swing back around this summer,” Zavala said.
Russell is not a fan of that look.
“I personally did not like the cropped shirts men wore, but I think jorts are cool and they should continue wearing them,” Russell said.
