The suspense of season three of Euphoria has been brewing up all over social media recently. The last season was released in 2022, so it has left people on a cliffhanger ever since. Students at GHS have been waiting as well and share their thoughts about the new season so far. Euphoria is a series about a troubled teenager who struggles with lots of things and also has a hard time finding her place in the world. Every character world adjusts to their relationships in the show.
Students have many mixed emotions about the new Euphoria season.
“I thought the new season was good so far for the first two episodes, but I wish it was more like how Euphoria used to be,” junior Liv Trentadue said. “I get that the show is now supposed to be based in the future, but I want it to be like before.”
Some students disagree and like that the show is based years ahead, but still agree about the show now not feeling like Euphoria anymore.
“I thought it was cool to see how everyone is doing like years after high school,” senior Zayd Cartahena said. “But I feel like there’s really no plot line but I definitely liked the second episode better than the first. It just doesn’t really seem like Euphoria anymore but I’m not saying it’s bad.”
Some students also really like that the episodes are getting released one by one every week again like usual.
“I love that they are doing Euphoria Sundays again because it makes the suspense and the excitement fun again,” junior Lilah Martinez said.
Some students really love the characters in the show and love to see them again this season.
“I love Euphoria because Rue is so understanding. People think Rue is just a girl who can’t get off drugs but it’s about how it led her there and about everything she’s been through.’’ senior Shania Coleman said.
