Kanye West Releases Album

Kanye+West+Releases+Album

Kanye West released his 10th album called Vultures with Ty Dolla $ign, on Feb 10 and it was #1 on the charts for multiple weeks straight. It was released later than expected, but exceeded fans expectations, as it is already being called by many as the Album of the Year.

With 16 songs on the track, there are multiple songs with lots of featured artists including PlayBoi Carti, Rich the Kid, and many more. North West, Kanye’s daughter was one of the many unexpected features that appeared on this album on Talking. This appeared on the top 100 songs.

“I think adding North West to a song was a great addition to the album and a great thing to do as a dad,” senior Lucas Labeau said. “It wasn’t even that bad either for how young she is, her dad can make anything sound amazing.”

One of the most popular songs on the album is “Carnival.” Fans are loving this new song because of the chorus at the beginning of the song. It also has features from multiple popular artists. “Carnival is one of the best if not the best song on the album,” senior Luke Trentadue said. “The chorus and features make it the best song out.”

Compared to all of the other albums Kayne has released, some think this is one of his best produced albums he has ever made. “The way each song had amazing production really amazed me, I didn’t think he could do it but he did,” Labeau said.

As this was a collaboration album, many were surprised to see Kayne collaborate with another artist to make an album as he has no previous record of doing so. “I think him and Ty Dolla $ign both killed this album,” senior Jonah Plitt said. “They both did equally good, I don’t know who did better but all I know is that it sounded amazing.”

Vultures is not the only product being produced by Kanye, as he will be releasing Vultures 2 in the future. “I’m excited to hear Vultures 2 in the future especially with how good the first one was,” junior Josiah Ornelas said.
