EA is back with NCAA Football 25

NCAA football is back for the first time in 11 years and is set to release on Xbox Next-Gen and PS5 console sometime this summer.  NCAA football has not been out since 2014 due to legal disputes between Electectorinc Arts and college athletes. Athletes argued that they were using their name, image, and likeness to their advantage to profit off of the athlete in the video game.

For NCAA 25, 134 FCS teams have agreed to be in the game and athletes will receive $600 and a copy of the game.

Many old players are excited for the new one to come out now that legal issues are settled and there can be a new college football game.

“I am excited because they have emphasized how big of a deal this game is coming out. EA seems to put a lot of effort into making this game great,” senior Raygun Uremovich said.

Now that players can be featured and named due to the NIL rules, you could play with players you may have known!

“I hope they have my hometown heroes like Javon, Will, Tanner, Jonah, and Izaiah because that will be cool to have people I know personally on a brother-to-brother status, and will be excited to use in the game,” senior Alex Klaus said.

A problem with the game is that players who have a PS4 and XBOX ONE will not be able to play the game due to it only being released on the Next-Gen console.

“I do not have a PS5 so I will not be able to play the game which is unfortunate cause I did enjoy NCAA 13 and 14,” said Uremovich.

Besides that, the game is receiving a lot of hype in universities across the nation with media teams taking advantage of the marketing aspect. They are making personalized covers with their team and players to help promote the game and the players that will be in the game.

Teams, Players, and Fans across the country are excited for the return of NCAA football 2025.
