Many dominant teams in the Champions League could lift the trophy in the Puskas Arena in Hungary. Many of these teams include Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Barcelona. People who watch the Champions League believe Arsenal and Bayern are the two top teams to win the Champions League this year.
“I think Bayern Munich will win the Champions League trophy in the Puskas Arena because their team is very dominant currently, as they have no weakness in their team,” junior Gabe Anderson said.
Players around the world have excited fans because of their ability to be a superstar for their team. Players like LW Lamine Yamal, ST Kylian Mbappe, ST Harry Kane, and CM Dominik Szoboszlai have been helping their team become the strongest in the Champions League and chase the trophy that changes legacies, the Ballon d’Or.
The Round of 16 has been set. On one side, fans will see Chelsea facing off against PSG, Liverpool facing off against Galatasaray, Real Madrid facing off against Manchester City, and Bayern Munich facing off against Atalanta. On the other side, fans will see Barcelona facing off against Newcastle United, Atlético Madrid facing off against Tottenham, Bodo/Glimt facing off against Sporting CP, and Arsenal facing off against Arsenal.

“I think Manchester City vs Real Madrid will be the best matchup in the round of 16 because they always have great games when they face each other,” junior Noah Freund said. “I think Bodo could be an underdog team because they have a solid attack and a solid defense.”
Overall, the Champions League Round of 16 has begun as fans root for their teams, teams emerge as favorites of the Champions League, Underdogs shock the world, and a team that will hoist the UCL trophy in the Puskas Arena.
